    Red Lobster Mac n’ Cheese

All ratings are out of 10.
    Over All Rating: 4 | Cheesiness: 5 | Noodliness: 6 | How much: $5.49* | Chewy: 2

    The Atmosphere

Red Lobster is a really nice place! They have nice waiters and a calming atmosphere. Red Lobster has a very cozy environment and the whole restaurant looks as if you are dining in a boat, with dimly lit nautical lights, wood furnishing, and a few boat flags. As soon as you walk in, the waiter or waitress immediately welcomes you and brings you to your table. Like always, they happily ask you for what drink you would like, if you have any questions they quickly answer them with confidence. It can be a little loud from time to time but after a while, but you slowly start to forget about the noise. This is what happened to me, I got a table right next to the bar/kitchen and the food took my mind right off the clattering noise of pots, pans, chefs, and the costumers at the bar. What I loved about the restaurant most was no TV, that’s right no TV, this is nice because the more family “talking time” the better before everybody starts eating.

    The Menu and the Cost

There is two menus: the main menu and the kids menu. As always, the kids menu only has five or more items, Red Lobster has 9 choices of food like: Chicken Fingers, Boiled Fresh Tilapia, Popcorn Shrimp, Petite Maine Lobster Tail, and MORE. The meal comes with a choice of fries or vegetables and a drink, and that is why it is $5.49, which is totally worth it because if you would like to, you can have your mac n’ cheese topped with shrimp or something else for free.

    The Taste

Their mac n’ cheese is Kraft mac n’ cheese unlike their other mac n’ cheese’s on their main menu, which is fine for me because I love Kraft mac n’ cheese, it’s really good if you make it just right. Personally, I thought they didn’t make the mac n’cheese that well, the mac n’ cheese was to watery, and there was too little cheese. On the bright side Kraft is Kraft and as they say “When you make Kraft mac n’ cheese, everything is good again!”.

    Worth It?

Overall, I would say that the mac n’ cheese is not worth getting from the kids menu, because hey! you can make your own nice bowl of Kraft Mac n’ Cheese at home. This DOES NOT mean you can’t go to Red Lobster and have their other amazing items from their kids menu or their “adult” menu.

*This is the kids menu price for the mac n’ cheese PLUS french fries and a drink.
